About Easterseals Washington Child Development Centers

What ages do you serve? Children aged 6 weeks to Pre-K.

What types of services are offered? Preschool and learning activities in all of our classrooms. Our teachers use the creative curriculum. 

Do you serve children with disabilities? Yes, our program serves children of all abilities. Our staff are trained to address each child's individual needs.

My child does not have a disability, is my child still eligible for enrollment? Yes, we offer an environment for every child to thrive, encouraging self-esteem, tolerance, and mutual respect from an early age.

About Jane’s House Child Development Center

What are your hours of operation? 7:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Where are you located? We are located on the campus of Yakima Valley College at 1101 S. 13th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902 

Is there parking available? Yes, in front of the building for drop off and pick up and to visit.

Is there a waitlist? There is no waitlist at this time.

Do you offer tours or open houses? Individual tours can be scheduled for potential new families to come and visit our center. 

Do the children play outside? Yes, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. 

Do you provide meals and snacks? We offer breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. 

Is transportation available? We do not offer transportation services; however, we are conveniently located next to a city bus stop. 

What security measures are in place? Yakima Valley College security is on campus 24/7 and monitors our center. Children will not be released to anyone whose name has not been provided to us in the enrollment papers or in writing by the parent/legal guardian. 

Are you open year-round? Yes, we are open year-round. 

How do I register? To register simply call the center to check on availability and to schedule a tour. After the tour you will be given a registration packet to complete. Once the packet is returned, we can plan on a start date within one to two days. 

Has this facility been awarded any recognition? Yes, Jane’s House is also an Early Achievers site and is currently rated a level 4 facility. Our Early Achievers coach provides monthly visits and works closely with staff to set Quality Improvement Goals. 

Are there any discounts? Yes, employees and students of Yakima Valley College will receive a discount on tuition. We also have a 10% discount for siblings, which is applied to the lowest tuition rate of the children enrolled. 

How are payments made? Payments are easy to make by signing up for our Tuition Express program. Tuition express offers online payments to be made by credit card or through your bank account. Checks and money orders are also accepted. We do not take cash. We also accept payment through DSHS and can give you our provider number upon request. 

Is there a registration fee? Yes, a one-time fee of $75.00. A $40.00 annual supply fee is charged in October.

Do the children play outside? Yes. There is a fenced playground with shaded areas.

Do you provide meals and snacks? Yes, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. 

What security measures are in place? The main door to the center is accessed by personal code.

Are you open year-round? Yes, although we are closed on federal holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and two teacher in-service days (the 2^nd Fridays of May and August).

Are you accredited? We are Early Achievers rated. 

Do you take subsidies? Yes (Washington State). 

Are there any discounts? Yes. We have a sibling discount (10% off oldest child). 

How are payments made? Credit or debit card, check, or money order. 

Is there a registration fee? Yes, a one-time $75 registration fee. 

About Growing Years Child Development Center

What are your hours of operation? 6 am – 6 pm, Monday through Friday 

Where are you located? 4735 E. Marginal Way S. Suite 1201 Seattle, WA 98134 

Is there parking available? Yes, there is free on-site parking as well as specifically labeled spaces for drop-off/pick-up. 

Is there a waitlist? Yes. 

Do you offer tours or open houses? Tours are offered by appointment, Monday through Friday, from 9 am – 11:30 am. 

Do the children play outside? Yes.

Do you provide meals and snacks? Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. 

What security measures are in place? Parents and guests go through building security on arrival.  The main door to the center is always locked and requires a center-provided key card for access.  The playgrounds are also both completely fenced in, and both playgrounds require a code for access. 

Are you open year-round? Yes, although we are closed for all federal holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and two teacher in-service days (the second Fridays of May and August).

Are you accredited? Yes, NAEYC accredited and Early Achievers rated. 

Do you take subsidies? Yes (state and federal). 

Are there any discounts? Yes, Sibling discount (10% off oldest sibling), and Federal employee tuition rates 

How are payments made? Payments can be made via credit or debit card, check, or money order. 

Is there a registration fee? Yes. There is a $75 one-time registration fee.

About Green Tree Child Development Center

Where are you located? Easterseals Washington Green Tree Child Development Center is located at 1200 6th Avenue South, Suite 200, in downtown Seattle, with easy access from I-5.

What are your hours of operation? 6:30 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday

Is there parking available? Yes, parking is available in the garage, and your ticket will be validated. There is also 3-minute parking directly in front of Green Tree on the south side of the building.

How long is your waitlist? Currently, there is no waitlist as our program is new. The waddler/toddler and Pre-School classrooms will open first.

Are you open year-round? Yes, except for federal holidays and a few training days.

What security measures are in place? There is a security check upon entering the lobby. Green Tree has separate, secure access, and only those with assigned access cards can open the doors from the outside.

Will there be tours? Yes, tours can be arranged by contacting Amanda Van Vleet.

Will there be an open house? Yes, there will be two open houses in February. For updates, contact Amanda Van Vleet.

Do you serve meals? Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, all prepared onsite following USDA meal pattern guidelines.

Do the children play outside? Yes, there is a secure outdoor playground and an adjacent park. Field trips to the park are pre-scheduled with a security sweep to ensure safety.

How will I be involved as a parent? Parent-teacher conferences are held at least three times annually. Parents are encouraged to participate in classrooms, and a volunteer information sheet is included in the enrollment packet. Green Tree also hosts community events for families throughout the year.

Are you accredited? Yes, by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). 

Do you accept subsidies? Yes, we accept military/federal subsidies and DCYF.

Are there any discounts? Federal employees receive a 10% discount. Families with more than one child enrolled receive a 10% sibling discount on the youngest child.

How are payments made? We directly bill the agency providing the subsidy. Parents can pay by check at the center or by credit card through an online payment system. Payments are due by the 5th or 20th of the month.
