About Green Tree Child Development Center
Where are you located? Easterseals Washington Green Tree Child Development Center is located at 1200 6th Avenue South, Suite 200, in downtown Seattle, with easy access from I-5.
What are your hours of operation? 6:30 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday
Is there parking available? Yes, parking is available in the garage, and your ticket will be validated. There is also 3-minute parking directly in front of Green Tree on the south side of the building.
How long is your waitlist? Currently, there is no waitlist as our program is new. The waddler/toddler and Pre-School classrooms will open first.
Are you open year-round? Yes, except for federal holidays and a few training days.
What security measures are in place? There is a security check upon entering the lobby. Green Tree has separate, secure access, and only those with assigned access cards can open the doors from the outside.

Will there be tours? Yes, tours can be arranged by contacting Amanda Van Vleet.
Will there be an open house? Yes, there will be two open houses in February. For updates, contact Amanda Van Vleet.
Do you serve meals? Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, all prepared onsite following USDA meal pattern guidelines.
Do the children play outside? Yes, there is a secure outdoor playground and an adjacent park. Field trips to the park are pre-scheduled with a security sweep to ensure safety.
How will I be involved as a parent? Parent-teacher conferences are held at least three times annually. Parents are encouraged to participate in classrooms, and a volunteer information sheet is included in the enrollment packet. Green Tree also hosts community events for families throughout the year.
Are you accredited? Yes, by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Do you accept subsidies? Yes, we accept military/federal subsidies and DCYF.
Are there any discounts? Federal employees receive a 10% discount. Families with more than one child enrolled receive a 10% sibling discount on the youngest child.
How are payments made? We directly bill the agency providing the subsidy. Parents can pay by check at the center or by credit card through an online payment system. Payments are due by the 5th or 20th of the month.
